Land Without Peace

There is contention in the land of Israel regarding war between Hamas and Hezbollah and the Jewish state of Israel. We hear from both sides about who’s fault it is, who is to blame and how to resolve this ongoing problem. History seems to show that this part of the world is a place of conflict. We talk about this idea in this week’s episode.

  1. To fully understand where we are today with the troubles in the Middle East you must understand the way the region was divided up post WW1. England and France divided it up to please their allies and in the process disenfranchised the Palestinians and to some degree the Jews. This also led to the problems with the creation of the Jewish state in 1949.
